I’m a reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and STLtoday.com, covering state courts in the St. Louis region.
I’ve covered legal issues, breaking news and law enforcement in the St. Louis area since 2005 after earning a master’s degree in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Mo. My first journalism job was as an editor at Eagle Newspapers that serves the suburbs of Syracuse, NY.
I’m a 2000 alumnus of Colgate University where I studied international relations and music. While there, I was a business manager and leader of The Colgate Thirteen, one of the country’s oldest men’s collegiate a cappella groups.
When I’m not reporting, I’m usually singing in one of two a cappella groups in St. Louis, the Ambassadors of Harmony and Vocal Edge. I also enjoy photography, running, bourbon, Chicago Cubs baseball (They finally won it all!) and messing around with my beagle, Blue.
